2016考研英語：簡單句合并為非謂語動詞作狀語

　　?一、二合一情況
　　兩個句子如果主語相同，可以選擇其中一個句子作主句，然后省略另一句的主語并把謂語改為非謂語動詞形式懸掛于主句之前或之后。
　　【例句】
　　Journalists hear that Stefanie Sun will come to Beijing.
　　記者們聽說孫燕姿要去北京。
　　They set out to obtain the news.
　　他們出發(fā)去搜集新聞。
　　合并：
　　Hearing that Stefanie Sun will come to Beijing , journalists set out to obtain the news.
　　或者：Hearing the news that Stefanie Sun will come to Beijing , journalists set out to obtain it.
　　【注意】要選擇表示作者主要意圖的句子作為主句。

　　?二、多合一情況
　　多個句子合并，選擇其中有相同主語的句子合并。全句保留一個主語和一個謂語，其他的動詞都變成非謂語動詞的形式懸掛于主句之前或之后。
　　【例句】
　　我撅著嘴，翹著二郎腿，一邊抽煙一邊喝水。
　　I smoke a cigarette.
　　I drink water.
　　I break off my mouth.
　　I tilted my legs.
　　合并：Having broken off my mouth and lited my legs , I smoke a cigarette , drinking a glass of water.

　　1）The drink spills out.
　　2）One person falls into despair.
　　3）All screwed up.
　　4）The other person hurries to lift up the bottle .

　　邏輯整合：
　　Having seen the drink spills out , one person falls into despair , sighing " all screwed up ", while the other person hurries to lift up the bottle , smiling as he feels so lucky still to have something left in the bottle.

　　?三、非謂語動詞結構的翻譯技巧
　　在非謂語動詞結構的翻譯技巧中，一是要找出非謂語結構的邏輯主語（一般為主句的主語），二是判斷主被動關系：非謂語動詞與其邏輯主語是主動還是被動的關系。翻譯完畢后，在非謂語結構與主句之間加上邏輯連詞。
　　【例句】
　　Having finished the homework , he went out to play basketball.（時間狀語）

　　Scolded by the teacher , the girl sat there without lifting her head.（原因狀語）
