　　in brief, in a nutshell 簡(jiǎn)言之

　　3.常用表示先后次序的過(guò)渡詞語(yǔ)

　　first 第一；second 第二；next 其次，然后；eventually 最后，最終；since then 自此以后；afterward 以后，隨后；meanwhile 同時(shí)；therefore 因而；immediately 立刻；finally 最后，最終。

　　【例】Finally, the country must not again go through the war.

　　4.常用表示因果關(guān)系的過(guò)渡詞語(yǔ)

　　accordingly于是；for this reason由于這個(gè)原因；as a result of由……結(jié)果；in this way這樣；consequently結(jié)果，因此；due to由于……；therefore因而；because of因?yàn)?；thus這樣。

　　【例】It rained, for this reason, the game was cancelled.

　　5.常用表示比較和對(duì)比的過(guò)渡詞語(yǔ)

　　in contrast with和……成對(duì)照；similarly同樣；whereas然而；on the contrary相反；different from與……不同；likewise同樣；equally important同樣重要；on the other hand另一方面。  【例】Different from Jane, Mary is interested in Maths.

　　6.常用表示舉例的過(guò)渡詞語(yǔ)

　　a case in point恰當(dāng)?shù)睦樱籪or example舉例；namely( that is )即，這就是說(shuō)；for instance舉例。

　　7.有關(guān)描寫(xiě)圖表的過(guò)渡詞語(yǔ)

　　9.邏輯連接詞語(yǔ)
